New in the cinema

Manuel @mnlwldr.eurosky.social · Aug 31 Wien, AT

A black and white photograph captures a street scene in Vienna, Austria, focused on the Cinecenter cinema. The large, illuminated marquee sign displays the German words "CINECENTER" and "TD". Below it, individual lightboxes list movie titles: "JETZT NEU" (NOW NEW), "LEBENSANSICHTEN EINES HUHNS" (VIEWS ON A CHICKEN'S LIFE), "DAS ENDE DER STERNE" (THE END OF THE STARS) with the text "DF.OMU", and "ONE NIGHT ONLY" also with "DF.OMU". Parked cars, including a dark station wagon, line the left side of the street, while multi-story residential buildings rise on the opposite side. A few pedestrians walk down the sidewalk in front of the theater. The image has a deep, dramatic tone with strong shadows.
