A black and white street photograph from a low perspective. A woman in a patterned coat, white scarf, and a low ponytail is in the foreground, right of center. She is blurred, looking upwards with a serene, slightly open-mouthed expression, away from the camera. In the foreground to the left is a bicycle's handlebars and a mesh basket. Behind them, on the street, are cobblestones and streetcar tracks leading to a modern tram and a striped crosswalk. A group of several pedestrians, in sharper focus, walk across the crosswalk. They include people in jackets and sweaters, one holding a shopping bag. The light is strong and direct, creating deep shadows.
