We booked an Airbnb above the Malahat / ny the Shawnigan Lake turn off. Incredible sunny views looking down right towards Victoria. And a little evening walk. Long distance power lines, twisty roads with new houses just going in, Sooke Hills trails meant for mountain biking, and the sun setting.
