The Swayambhu Gateway Prayer Wheel Shrine is a brightly painted gatehouse structure that stands a massive 4 meter tall Mani Khorlo, intricately painted and inscribed with the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra. At the top of the axle mechanisms inside the gatehouse, a small bell rings with every full rotation made by pilgrims spinning the wheel.
