You can just make out Samos airport and its incredibly short runway in the distance. I'm lined up at maybe a 15 degree angle off the runway at at somewhere around 1000ft.

Having already been over to Samos town once, we rented a car and went on a tour of the island. Big up the lady from the rental company that delivered the car and helped us map the route! We did not expect some of the roads to be so windy, but we were warned it was "like driving in Cornwall"
