Say you're in room 223: do you turn left or right...? If you ever wondered what Applied Cognitive Psychologist work on: this is a prime example. It's unclear which arrow belongs to which number: are lines and numbers grouped horizontally by line or are they grouped left versus right? This could use some "#Gestalt" treatment. I see 2 solutions that could work with this design: Either move the arrow on the same line right next to the numbers so they are "connected" by proximity OR divide the horizontal bars in the middle so a grouping of "left" vs "right" emerges. #wayfinding #dontmakemethink
