Mt. Vesuvius & Pompeii (2026-05-03)

Day two of our impromptu trip we went up Vesuvius, and then came down to the ruins in Pompeii. (GCSE history buffs unite!) I can, in fact, confirm it's possible to get 4G phone signal at the top of a 3000ft volcano, and that you can get a coffee, ice cream, and bottle of Peroni at the shop at the bus drop off point when you get back down (worth it)
