Aerial view of Lough McNean, Northern Ireland

David Morrison @morrison.ac · Jun 9 County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, GB

Aerial drone photograph looking north over Lough McNean on the Fermanagh–Leitrim border. The broad lough fills the right half of the frame under a blue sky with white cumulus clouds. A wooded peninsula juts into the water from the left, with a small tree-covered island visible to the right. The foreground shows a patchwork of bright green fields divided by drystone walls and hedgerows, with a narrow road running along the southern shore. A small town is visible on the far shore, backed by rolling upland hills with wind turbines on the ridge. Trees are bare or just budding in early spring.
