Spring Hanami Beneath Portland's Waterfront Canopy

Tim Trautmann @timtrautmann.com · Apr 16 Willamette Greenway Trail, Portland, Oregon, US

A luminous grove of cherry blossoms creates a pink ceiling over Tom McCall Waterfront Park, where visitors gather in quiet contemplation and casual conversation. The delicate sakura petals filter soft daylight onto stone pathways and emerald grass, while people of all ages find respite beneath the flowering branches. The urban waterfront setting provides a serene contrast to Portland's cityscape, with the Willamette River visible beyond the blooming canopy.
