Golden Hour Tug at Seattle's Pier 70

Tim Trautmann @timtrautmann.com · Apr 21 Pier 70, Seattle, Washington, US

A working tugboat designated T-802 basks in the amber light of golden hour at Seattle's Pier 70, its white hull and wheelhouse glowing warmly against Elliott Bay's dark waters. The vessel's utilitarian design and illuminated cabin windows suggest the quiet end of a working day, while the soft-focused skyline of downtown Seattle rises majestically in the background. The modern waterfront development creates a striking architectural contrast to the honest functionality of the maritime workboat, capturing the intersection of Seattle's industrial heritage and urban evolution.
