St. Johns Afternoon

Tim Trautmann @timtrautmann.com · Apr 22 North Philadelphia Avenue, Portland, Oregon, US

A group of five teenagers hang out on a public bench in the town square of Portland's St. Johns neighborhood. The teens wear a mix of hoodies, ripped jeans, and white sneakers, with skateboards visible beside them. One wears pink-tinted sunglasses, another has headphones around his neck. An older man in an orange Nike cap and blue hoodie stands to the right, offering two cigarettes to one of the teenagers. A brick United States National Bank of Oregon branch building is visible in the background, framed by leafy green trees under an overcast sky.
